Stats
Bio
A diminutive recruit from Western Australia, Bill Grundy arrived at Footscray after establishing himself as a goal-kicking rover with East Perth. Standing just 166cm, he was one of the smallest players in the VFL but compensated for his lack of height with sharp agility and pace. During his two seasons at the Western Oval, he was converted from a forward-half rover into a wingman, acting as a link player rather than a scorer. Grundy eventually returned to the west, where he continued his career with a premiership at Mines Rovers in the Goldfields league and a final stint with South Fremantle.
