Bio
Recruited from the Maryborough Football Club in central Victoria, Bill Gunn was a compact utility who made a brief but notable appearance for South Melbourne during the 1920s. Arriving at the Lake Oval in 1922, the 174cm recruit broke into a competitive lineup that featured the legendary Roy Cazaly, managing to hold his place for 10 senior appearances throughout the year. While he booted just one major and his time at VFL level was limited to a single season, Gunn proved to be a serviceable contributor for the Bloods before disappearing from the League scene.
