Stats
Bio
Recruited from the VFA ranks where he represented Richmond and Windsor, Bill Harris arrived at St Kilda as a mature-age recruit during the 1900 season. Standing just 170cm, he was a diminutive figure who was given a brief opportunity to prove himself at the highest level. Harris made his debut in Round 3 against Collingwood and held his spot for the following week's clash with Essendon, facing two of the competition's powerhouse sides early in his tenure. His VFL career was ultimately short-lived, concluding after those two appearances as St Kilda continued to cycle through players while struggling to establish a competitive list in the league's formative years.
