Teams

Recruited from Northcote via Carlton District, Bill Hore was a serving police officer who managed a unique three-club career as a journeyman utility. He began his VFL tenure with a brief stint at St Kilda before crossing to Carlton, where he struggled to cement a regular spot in the senior side over five seasons. Often playing as a defensive-minded player or filling gaps in the lineup, Hore found opportunities limited at Princes Park and requested a mid-season clearance to Melbourne in June 1919. He added just two final appearances to his tally with the Fuschias, retiring as one of the few players to represent three different league clubs while amassing just over 20 senior games.
