Bio
Recruited from the Lismore Football Club in the Western Plains Football League, Bill Hosking was a Best and Fairest winner at the local level before making his way to Kardinia Park. Although his senior opportunities were restricted to a handful of appearances during the 1962 season, Hosking remained a vital part of the club's depth during a golden era, famously featuring in Geelong's 1963 reserves premiership victory alongside his brother, Ron, and fellow Lismore recruit John Fox. A versatile 178cm utility, he established a family legacy at the Cats, with his brother Ron going on to play 70 games in the Hoops and his nephew, Scott, later representing the club in the 1980s.
