Bio
Recruited from Echuca, Bill Kyme was a capable half-forward known for his ability to pull down a strong overhead mark. He broke into the Essendon side late in the 1912 season, debuting in Round 14 and holding his spot for three consecutive weeks, a brief stint that included victories over Richmond and Melbourne. Despite showing glimpses of talent in attack, his time at the top level was fleeting, and he finished his VFL career with just the three senior appearances to his name. Kyme later continued his football journey in the VFA with Williamstown in 1914, where he reunited with former Essendon teammate Norm Busbridge and played under the coaching of Bombers champion Alec Hall.
