Stats
Bio
Recruited from Malvern, Bill Lloyd was a diminutive rover and forward pocket who featured briefly for St Kilda in the early 1920s. Standing just 168cm, he relied on agility and opportunism rather than size, breaking into the senior lineup for the opening round of the 1920 season against Carlton. He showed an early eye for the goals, slotting four majors in his debut year as the Saints struggled near the bottom of the ladder. Despite his initial promise, Lloyd found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in the starting eighteen, adding just five more games in 1921 before finishing his VFL career with a modest tally of 11 appearances.
