Bio
A recruit from the local Canterbury side, Bill Munn was a diminutive wingman and forward who faced the unenviable task of breaking into Collingwood’s legendary "Machine" era lineup. Standing just 171cm, he possessed the agility and skill required for the top level, evidenced by his shared victory in the 1932 Reserves Best and Fairest count (then the Collingwood District). Despite this dominant form in the seconds, Munn found opportunities in the senior eighteen scarce, managing just nine games across two seasons in a team overflowing with premiership talent. Seeking regular senior football, he departed Victoria Park at the end of 1933 and crossed to the VFA, where he became a consistent contributor and goal-kicker for Prahran.
