Bio
Recruited from North Geelong, Billy Gallagher was a local product who earned a brief opportunity with the Pivotonians during the 1906 VFL season. He stepped into the senior side for a solitary four-game block, managing to impact the scoreboard with a single career goal during his short tenure at Corio Oval. Typical of many district footballers of the era who were brought in to test the club's depth, Gallagher was unable to command a regular position in the starting lineup and departed the league after just one season, remaining a footnote in the club's early 20th-century history.
