Bio
The younger brother of distinguished Fitzroy duo Jim and Mick Grace, Billy Grace forged a different path by signing with Essendon from Fitzroy Crescent rather than joining his siblings at the Maroons. Standing 180cm, he broke into the senior side early in the 1900 season, debuting in a win over Collingwood and retaining his spot for a month of football. Unlike his decorated siblings who became VFL stars, his career was confined to a four-game cameo during the Bombers’ premiership year, eventually losing his place in the side well before the club’s successful finals campaign.
