Bio
Recruited from the Ballarat Football League, Billy Stevens was a half-forward and utility player who represented St Kilda during the early 1930s. He made his debut in Round 1, 1930, and quickly found a niche in the Saints' lineup, often rotating between the flanks and the centre line. Stevens played 23 games over two difficult seasons for the club, which finished ninth and tenth respectively during his tenure. Although he managed to hold his spot for the majority of his time at the Junction Oval, contributing nine goals, his VFL career was brief and concluded after the 1931 season.
