While initially drafted with forward upside, Howes carved out a niche in the Demons' backline, using his aerial traits to peel off opponents and generate drive from the defensive 50. After booting his first career goal in 2025, he has settled into a role as a versatile depth player, offering the Demons crucial flexibility and athleticism as he looks to cement a permanent spot in the best 22.
