Stats
Bio
Recruited from Peel Thunder after a standout junior career that included U18 All-Australian honours, Blayne Wilson joined West Coast via pick 2 in the 2011 Pre-Season Draft. A composed defender with a natural ability to read the play and intercept opposition attacks, Wilson was also highly regarded for his efficiency by foot coming out of the back half. Despite his potential, he found it difficult to cement a spot in a formidable Eagles defensive unit that featured established stars such as Darren Glass and Eric Mackenzie. Consequently, Wilson managed just nine senior appearances across four seasons on the list before being delisted at the end of 2014, after which he returned to the WAFL and became a key figure for South Fremantle.
