Bio
Recruited from Preston Juniors, Bob Eastaway was a mid-sized utility who earned a brief trial with Fitzroy during the 1962 season. Standing 179cm, he broke into the senior side as a nineteen-year-old, providing an option on the flank or wing as the Lions looked to bolster their squad. His VFL career was ultimately restricted to just two appearances without a goal, and he exited the league shortly after his brief taste of senior football. Eastaway is remembered as one of the local products who donned the maroon and blue during the club's transitional phase in the early 1960s.
