Bio
Recruited from Longwarry in the Gippsland region, Bob Flett arrived at the Junction Oval during a lean period for St Kilda in the mid-1930s. Standing 180cm, he was a solid presence who primarily operated as a forward, managing to boot eight goals across his 15 senior appearances. After a debut season in 1936 where he showed promise, Flett notably dropped out of the VFL side for the entire 1937 campaign, only to earn a recall the following year where he added another five goals to his tally. Unable to cement a permanent spot in the Saints' lineup, his tenure in the top flight concluded at the end of 1938, after which he crossed to the VFA to ply his trade with Brunswick.
