Bio
Recruited from Yarrawonga in the Ovens & Murray Football League, Bob Goode arrived at North Melbourne to join his older brother Frank at Arden Street. Standing 183cm, he was a solid contributor who primarily operated in defence, utilizing his frame to contest aerial balls and support the backline structure. While his brother established himself as a regular fixture in the side, Bob faced a constant battle for senior selection throughout his four seasons at the club. He managed to break into the lineup for 20 games between 1963 and 1966 but ultimately struggled to cement a permanent spot in the starting eighteen before departing the VFL scene.
