Stats
Bio
Eugene "Bob" Kenna was a Ballarat-born rover and forward pocket who arrived at St Kilda after a prolific stint with Sandringham in the VFA. Standing just 174cm, he was a sharp operator around the sticks, having booted 55 goals in 52 games in the Association before his recruitment to the league in 1932. Kenna made an immediate impact, slotting four goals in his second VFL match and proving a useful foil for star goalkicker Bill Mohr in a side that often struggled to find avenues to goal. He remained a consistent scoring threat, averaging better than a goal a game throughout his 21 appearances, but his senior career was brief, concluding after the 1933 season.
