Bio
Recruited from Wodonga in the Ovens and Murray Football League, Bob Marshall was a utility player who earned a brief opportunity with South Melbourne during the 1959 VFL season. Brought to the Lake Oval to bolster the club's depth, he managed to break into the senior lineup for eight matches, primarily filling roles as a follower or in the back half. However, Marshall struggled to command a permanent spot in the side during a middling year for the Swans, and his VFL career was confined to that single season before he departed the league.
