Bio
Recruited from Parkdale Amateurs, Bob McIntosh arrived at St Kilda during the turbulent conclusion of the Second World War. Standing 183cm, he was a solid key position prospect for the era who had previously demonstrated his utility by representing Victoria in the Territory Forces championship while on active military service in 1944. His senior VFL career was brief and sporadic, consisting of two appearances in the 1945 season and a further two matches in 1946 as the competition adjusted to the post-war landscape. Unable to cement a permanent spot in the Saints' lineup, his time at the Junction Oval ended without a goal to his name, and he eventually relocated to country Victoria to live in Ararat.
