Bio
Recruited from Caulfield City, Bob Watt was a versatile tall who served St Kilda as both a ruckman and defender during the 1950s. He made his debut in the final round of 1952 and spent the next six seasons largely as a backup option, regularly deputising in the ruck during a lean competitive era for the club. Watt accumulated 46 games while battling for selection in a struggling side, eventually concluding his VFL career during the early stages of the Alan Killigrew rebuilding phase. While largely a depth player during his time at the Junction Oval, his family connection to the club was later revived by his granddaughter, Rhiannon Watt, who served as an inaugural co-captain of St Kilda's AFLW team.
