Bio
Recruited from the Eastern Ranges with pick 72 in the 2002 National Draft, Brad Fisher carved out a niche as a lead-up forward during a turbulent era for the Carlton Football Club. Often playing second fiddle to spearhead Brendan Fevola, Fisher was distinguished by his clean hands, strong overhead marking, and a unique set-shot technique involving an exceptionally high ball drop. He played his best football between 2007 and 2008, including a 39-goal season, but his continuity was often hampered by persistent shoulder and knee injuries. As the club rebuilt its list under Brett Ratten, Fisher struggled to hold his spot in the senior side and was ultimately delisted following the 2010 season, leaving him stranded on 99 games—one of the more unfortunate statistical quirks in recent club history.
