Bio
Recruited from Sturt with pick 77 in the 2012 National Draft, Brad Hartman was a talented half-forward who showed flashes of potential during a brief stint at Geelong. He broke into the senior side midway through the 2014 season, making his debut against St Kilda and playing five consecutive matches where his speed and goal sense were on display. Despite this promising breakthrough, Hartman struggled with the rigorous demands of the professional environment and failed to return to pre-season training following the Christmas break. Citing a loss of passion for the game at the elite level, he reached a mutual agreement with the club to terminate his contract in May 2015, returning to South Australia without adding to his tally of senior games.
