Bio
Recruited from the Western Magpies in Queensland, Brad Howard was selected by St Kilda with pick 27 in the 2006 National Draft, arriving at Moorabbin with a reputation for blistering pace and elite endurance. A lightly built outside runner, he was developed as a line-breaker on the wing and half-back flank, managing to break into the senior side for two games late in his debut season. However, Howard struggled to find enough of the football to retain his spot and subsequently battled for opportunities within a disciplined St Kilda outfit that was rapidly climbing the ladder under Ross Lyon. Unable to bridge the gap between state league promise and senior consistency, he was delisted at the end of 2009 without adding to his initial games tally.
