Bio
Born in England and raised on the Gold Coast, Brad Moran was an athletic ruck prospect selected by North Melbourne with pick 58 in the 2004 National Draft. Possessing a rugby background, he was viewed as a developing project player capable of using his significant speed and agility to cover the ground distinctively for a 200cm tall. After managing just three games in three seasons at Arden Street, Moran was traded to Adelaide at the end of 2007 in search of regular senior opportunities. He added another 18 games to his tally with the Crows, occasionally showing glimpses of his potential as a mobile ruckman, but his time at the elite level was ultimately derailed by a series of debilitating injuries. Persistent knee and hip issues forced him to retire from the AFL at the end of 2011 at just 25 years of age.
