Stats
Bio
A tough inside midfielder hailing from Rockingham, Brad Walsh arrived at Princes Park with a reputation for maturity beyond his years, having captained Western Australia at the Under-18 National Championships. Selected by Carlton in the 2015 Rookie Draft, he was a "no-frills" contested ball-winner who thrived in the stoppages rather than relying on flash or speed. Walsh spent the majority of his sole season on the list dominating for the Northern Blues, where his consistency saw him crowned the VFL affiliate's Best and Fairest winner—the youngest player to claim the award in over a decade. He was rewarded with a three-game taste of senior football late in 2015, making his debut against Fremantle, but was unable to secure a permanent spot on the list during the club's list rebuild. Following his delisting at the end of the season, he returned to his home state to continue his career with Peel Thunder in the WAFL.
