Bio
Recruited from St Albans, Bradley Plain was a talented key forward known for his strong marking on the lead and sharp finishing skills. He emerged at Essendon as a potent scoring threat in the early 1990s, utilising his size and goal sense to average nearly two goals a game during his time at Windy Hill. Despite his obvious ability, Plain could not secure a permanent spot in Kevin Sheedy's 1993 premiership side and was traded to Collingwood the following season in search of greater opportunity. While he provided the Magpies with a dangerous target inside 50 for two years, he struggled to find consistency and eventually moved to North Melbourne for a final season. Plain retired as a journeyman forward who held a place on the lists of two premiership-winning clubs, Essendon and North Melbourne, yet missed selection for both Grand Final victories.
