Bio
A lively forward recruited from Kyabram via the club's reserves system, Bradley Sparks managed a brief senior career during a period of rapid resurgence for the Melbourne Football Club. He made his debut in Round 6, 1987, and showed immediate potential by hitting the scoreboard, eventually booting three goals across three games in his rookie season. Despite his ability to find the goals, Sparks struggled to cement a regular spot in a lineup that was breaking a 23-year finals drought and pushing toward the 1988 Grand Final. After adding just one more senior appearance in 1988, he remained on the list for another season without breaking through the Demons' depth. His football journey continued with a short stint at Glenelg in the SANFL before being thrown an AFL lifeline by the Sydney Swans in the 1990 draft, though he never added to his tally at the top level.
