Bio
Born in France and recruited from the Perth Demons with pick 45 in the 2012 National Draft, Brant Colledge was developed by West Coast as a prototype big-bodied midfielder. Standing 192cm, he possessed the physical attributes to dominate contested situations and became a prolific ball-winner at WAFL level for the Eagles' affiliate, East Perth. Despite his consistent ability to accumulate massive possession numbers in the state league, Colledge struggled to bridge the gap to AFL intensity, specifically regarding his defensive running and spread from the contest. He managed just three senior appearances across four seasons, unable to cement a spot in a strong Eagles midfield, and was delisted at the end of 2016 as a player who proved too dominant for state footy but unable to adapt to the pace of the elite level.
