Teams

A graduate of the Gold Coast Suns Academy, Brayden Crossley entered the AFL via pick 52 in the 2017 National Draft, staying local to represent the club he grew up supporting. Standing out immediately with his distinctive appearance and aggressive demeanour, he became a cult figure among Suns fans, utilised as a physical ruckman and forward who thrived on the contested side of the game. Despite showing early promise as an imposing physical presence who enjoyed throwing his weight around, his AFL career was abruptly curtailed after the 2019 season. Following a provisional suspension related to an anti-doping violation, he was delisted by Gold Coast, concluding his time at the top level after just two seasons to continue his football journey in state leagues.
