Bio
Recruited from West Perth with the prestigious third selection in the 1995 National Draft, Brendon Fewster entered the AFL with high expectations as a key position prospect for West Coast. A tall marking forward capable of pinch-hitting in the ruck, he found it difficult to cement a permanent spot in a strong Eagles lineup, often sitting behind established stars in the pecking order. Seeking greater opportunity, Fewster crossed town to join rivals Fremantle prior to the 2000 season, where he immediately displayed his potential by booting a career-high seven goals against the Western Bulldogs early in his tenure. While he added valuable height and structure to the Dockers' forward line, his career was ultimately hampered by recurring soft-tissue injuries and inconsistent form, resulting in his delisting at the conclusion of 2002.
