Bio
Recruited to Collingwood as a father-son selection in the 1997 National Draft, Brent Tuckey arrived at Victoria Park with high expectations as the son of former Magpie Peter Tuckey. A tall utility capable of playing as a key forward or defender, he struggled to find consistency at the senior level, managing just 22 games over four seasons while battling for a spot in Mick Malthouse's developing side. Seeking a fresh start and greater on-field opportunities, Tuckey was traded to West Coast ahead of the 2002 season, but he failed to break into the Eagles' senior lineup and did not add to his career games tally before being delisted. Following his departure from the AFL, he made a rare code switch to rugby league, carving out a successful stint in the Queensland Cup before later returning to local football.
