Bio
Recruited from the Prahran Dragons as a highly touted junior, Brent Williams arrived at Adelaide as the club’s first selection (pick 18) in the 1995 National Draft. After a development year in the SANFL with West Adelaide, the Victorian forward broke into the Crows' senior side for the opening round of the 1997 season. He showed early promise by playing the first seven games of the club's premiership year but eventually lost his place in the lineup and did not feature in the finals campaign. Seeking greater opportunity, Williams was traded to Melbourne following the season in a deal that saw future defender Nathan Bassett head the other way. Despite leading the Demons' reserves goalkicking in 1998, the 190cm forward was unable to break into the senior team and was delisted without adding to his career tally.
