Stats
Bio
Recruited from Swan Hill with pick 39 in the 1988 National Draft, Brett Mahony spent two seasons on the Richmond list during a transitional period for the club. A medium-sized utility who worked his way through the reserves, he had to wait until late in the 1990 season to make his senior debut. Mahony played two consecutive matches against St Kilda and Footscray in Rounds 20 and 21, but despite the Tigers' search for consistency during that era, he was unable to consolidate a permanent spot in the senior lineup. He was delisted at the conclusion of the 1990 season, leaving Punt Road with a brief two-game career at the highest level.
