Bio
Selected by Sydney with pick 26 in the 2007 National Draft, Brett Meredith arrived from the Northern Knights with a reputation as a skilled midfielder capable of using the ball well on either side of his body. Despite showing early promise as a classy outside runner and half-forward, his development was severely hampered by persistent injuries and the challenge of cracking into a hardened, premiership-calibre Swans engine room. He struggled to string consistent games together, managing just 16 senior appearances over five seasons before being delisted at the conclusion of the club's 2012 campaign.
