Bio
Recruited from the Flinders Naval Depot, Brett Pollock arrived at Fitzroy via a service football pathway rather than the traditional metropolitan zoning system. He earned his senior debut in the opening round of the 1963 season and quickly established himself as a capable target in the forward half, booting seven goals across 10 senior appearances. A medium-sized half-forward standing 180cm, Pollock demonstrated reliable goal sense and the ability to contribute on the scoreboard during his brief stint at the top level. His VFL career was ultimately confined to that single season, after which he departed the Lions and later surfaced briefly in the VFA with Brunswick.
