Bio
A mature-age recruit from Swan Districts in the WAFL, Brett Yorgey arrived at Victoria Park ahead of the 1987 season to add experience to the Collingwood midfield. Operating primarily as a rover who could drift forward to hit the scoreboard, he broke into the senior side for the Round 1 clash against North Melbourne. While he managed to hold his spot for 11 games during a difficult season where the Magpies finished twelfth, Yorgey was unable to secure a long-term position on the list. He was delisted at the conclusion of the season and returned to Western Australia to resume his career with the Swans.
