Bio
Recruited from the Jacana Football Club in Melbourne's northern suburbs, Brian Hall arrived at Arden Street during a lean period for North Melbourne. He made his senior debut in 1971, breaking into a side that was struggling to climb the ladder, and was utilised primarily as a defender given his six-foot frame and lack of scoring output. Hall managed 11 games across two seasons, featuring intermittently in a backline under constant pressure, but ultimately struggled to cement a permanent place in the senior 22. His tenure at the club concluded at the end of the 1972 season, seeing him depart just prior to the arrival of Ron Barassi and the subsequent golden era that delivered the club's first premierships.
