Bio
Arriving at North Melbourne with a formidable reputation from the SANFL, Brian Mulvihill was a towering key position prospect recruited from West Torrens. Standing 193cm, the South Australian had dominated his home state's goal kicking tallies, but found his role altered upon crossing the border to Arden Street. During his two-year stint in the VFL, Mulvihill was often deployed as a swingman, rotating between centre half-forward and a half-back flank rather than settling as a permanent deep forward. While he provided a structural contest for the Kangaroos, he ultimately opted to return to West Torrens after the 1972 season, where he immediately recaptured his form to become one of the Eagles' most decorated forwards.
