Bio
Recruited from Shepparton United in the Goulburn Valley, Bruce Ferrari broke into the Geelong side in 1955, joining the club in the wake of its dominant early-50s premiership era. A versatile utility capable of playing through the centre or across half-forward, he was a steady ball-winner who could also hit the scoreboard, providing a reliable link between the midfield and attack. He became a regular fixture in the Cats' lineup during the finals campaigns of 1955 and 1956, contributing effectively during a competitive period for the club. Ferrari remained a serviceable player at Kardinia Park for six seasons before concluding his VFL career at the end of 1960.
