Bio
Recruited from Sturt with pick 33 in the 1988 National Draft, Bruce Lennon was a classy South Australian utility who arrived at Richmond with a strong reputation. Although drafted in the late 80s, he remained in the SANFL to develop his game before finally breaking into the Tigers' senior side in Round 6, 1992. Standing 188cm, he offered versatility as a tall flanker or midfielder and showed glimpses of his quality during a promising 17-game debut season. However, he struggled to lock down a permanent role the following year and departed the AFL after the 1993 season. Lennon returned to Sturt and forged a brilliant career at state level, winning two Best and Fairest awards and retiring as a Double Blues legend with over 200 games to his name.
