Teams

Recruited from Sandhurst in the Bendigo Football League, Bruce Tempany established himself as a pacy and skilful wingman for Richmond during the late 1970s. He became a vital component of the Tigers' midfield rotation, using his speed and precise foot skills to link defence with attack. Tempany’s crowning achievement came in 1980, where he played on the wing in Richmond's dominant Grand Final victory over Collingwood, securing his place in the club's history as a premiership player. Despite battling injuries that occasionally limited his continuity in the senior side, he remained a serviceable contributor at Punt Road for eight seasons before concluding his tenure with the Tigers at the end of 1984.
