Bio
Recruited from the Golden Point Football Club in the Ballarat league, Bryant Hocking arrived at the Junction Oval to bolster St Kilda’s defensive stocks in the late 1950s. Standing at 173cm, Hocking primarily operated as a backman, tasked with quelling opposition forwards while showing enough versatility to drift up the ground and boot two goals during his tenure. He managed to secure a regular spot in the senior side throughout the 1957 season, featuring in 13 matches, but his career at the elite level was ultimately confined to that solitary campaign before he departed the VFL scene.
