Bio
Recruited from Labrador with the final active selection (pick 84) in the 2010 National Draft, Bryce Retzlaff was a local Queensland talent brought in to bolster Brisbane's key position stocks. A strong-bodied centre half-forward known for his contested marking and competitive nature, he managed to break into the senior side during his debut season, playing 11 games and featuring in the inaugural QClash victory over the Gold Coast Suns. Although he showed promise as a structural target inside 50, his progress was severely hampered the following year when he ruptured his ACL in a NEAFL match. The long-term injury prevented him from taking the field in 2012, and unable to prove his fitness or secure a contract extension during the club's list regeneration, he was delisted after two seasons.
