Bio
Recruited from local side South Yarra, Charles "Jim" Forbes was a depth player who battled for consistency during a lean era for St Kilda. He managed just 19 games over five seasons, frequently drifting in and out of the senior lineup as he fought to secure a permanent role at the Junction Oval. After failing to register a senior appearance in 1933, he returned for a handful of games the following year before eventually departing the VFL to continue his career with Brighton in the VFA.
