Bio
Recruited from Woodville-West Torrens with pick 30 in the 2020 National Draft, Caleb Poulter initially made his mark at Collingwood as a distinct, penetrating left-foot kicker. He showed flashes of potential on the wing during his debut season but struggled to cement a spot under a new coaching regime in 2022, leading to his delisting. Poulter took the hard road back to the elite level, impressing in the VFL for Footscray before earning a lifeline from the Western Bulldogs in the 2023 Mid-Season Draft. A versatile outside runner capable of operating on a wing or across half-back, he provided valuable depth and transition run for the Bulldogs. Despite his resilience in fighting his way back into the system, he was unable to lock down a permanent position in a competitive lineup, concluding his tenure at the Whitten Oval at the end of the 2025 season.
