Bio
Recruited from West Perth with pick 13 in the 1997 National Draft, Callum Chambers was a highly rated junior whose AFL career was defined by a struggle to cement a permanent spot in the senior side. A running midfielder capable of finding space on the wing and hitting the scoreboard, he played 54 games for West Coast but often found himself on the fringe of a developing powerhouse unit. Seeking greater opportunities, Chambers was traded to Carlton in exchange for pick 57 at the end of the 2004 season, joining the Blues during a difficult rebuilding phase under Denis Pagan. Despite the change of scenery, he could not establish himself as a consistent contributor at Princes Park, adding just 12 games over two seasons before being delisted at the end of 2006.
