Bio
Recruited from Central District with pick 17 in the 2002 National Draft, Cameron Faulkner arrived at the Western Bulldogs as a highly rated prospect known for his speed and goal sense. A small forward capable of pushing into the midfield, Faulkner possessed natural flair but found his development hampered by injuries and a struggle to deliver consistent performances at senior level. Despite showing glimpses of his potential, notably during the 2005 season where he played 11 of his career games, he was unable to secure a permanent place in the lineup as the club rebuilt under Rodney Eade. He was delisted at the conclusion of the 2007 season having played 18 matches, after which he returned to South Australia to continue his career in the SANFL.
