Teams

Recruited as a mature-age rookie from Box Hill, Cameron Pedersen debuted for North Melbourne in 2011, quickly displaying an ability to plug holes at either end of the ground. Despite a promising start, opportunities at Arden Street proved limited, leading to a trade to Melbourne at the end of 2012 in search of regular senior football. It was at the Demons where Pedersen truly established himself as the ultimate utility, earning cult status among supporters for his resilience and versatility. While often deployed as a marking forward or intercept defender, his most significant contribution came as an undersized pinch-hitting ruckman, particularly during the 2017 season when he commendably shouldered the load in the absence of Max Gawn. Pedersen was delisted at the conclusion of 2018 as the club's depth improved, leaving the game as a respected journeyman who maximised his opportunities at the highest level.
