Stats
Bio
A dangerous mid-sized forward originally from Clarence, Cameron Thurley was drafted by Geelong in 2003 after impressing with the Tassie Devils in the VFL. He flashed significant potential during his stint at Kardinia Park, notably booting four goals in just his second senior match and displaying strong overhead marking ability for his size. Despite a promising strike rate in front of goal during 2005, Thurley was unable to command a regular spot in a Geelong squad teeming with future premiership talent and crossed to North Melbourne via the pre-season draft seeking greater opportunity. He added five games to his tally at Arden Street before being delisted, eventually returning to Tasmania where he cemented his status as a local legend, captaining Clarence to premiership success and winning the TSL's highest individual honours.
