Stats
Bio
Recruited from local side West Footscray, Cameron Wright was a solidly built key position prospect who made a brief appearance for the Bulldogs as an 18-year-old. Standing 189cm, he was brought into Mick Malthouse's senior team for a baptism of fire against Carlton in Round 3, 1987. Wright gathered 15 disposals across his short stint at the top level, notably retaining his place for a win over eventual grand finalists Hawthorn the following week. Despite this encouraging start and a frame that suggested long-term potential as a tall utility, he was unable to secure a regular spot in the senior rotation and left the club without adding to his two career games.
